Find My (0.4.0)

• Fixed: opening the window, or signing in, now asks your devices for a fresh location.
• The device list and map update in place instead of being rebuilt every minute.
• The location history writes once per refresh and prunes once a day.
• icloud-findmy commands start in about 2 ms instead of about 65 ms: the command line no longer loads GTK. The window is icloud-findmy-app, and the desktop entry opens it as before.

Photos (0.4.0)

• Large libraries: the catalog is indexed, so naming and cache cleanup no longer scan every photo, and downloads no longer wait on each other.
• The grid reads only what it shows, stops redrawing when idle, and cancels thumbnails that scroll away.
• Expired download links are refreshed in one batch. "Download all" uses the parallel workers, and deletes go 200 per request.
• icloud-photos commands start in about 3 ms instead of about 68 ms. The window is icloud-photos-app.

Sign-in (icloud-session 0.6.0)

• The keyring is reached directly over D-Bus, dropping about 50 dependencies.
• The daemon and its command line are one binary: half the size.
• It keeps 8 connections per server open instead of 1, reuses a recent session for 5 minutes, and clears the sign-in window's browser cache after you sign in.

Notes (0.7.2)

• The sync engine reads very large notes straight into memory.

Photos and Find My now use the system SQLite (they depend on sqlite).

Notes (0.7.0)

• Delete, edit, rename or move a note's file with any tool (Neovim, Obsidian, rm, mv) and the same thing happens in iCloud, even if another device changed the note in the meantime.
• Folder directories sync as folders: rename one, delete one (its notes go to Recently Deleted), or make a new one, even empty.
• Notes with images or files can now be edited; only the attachment links themselves must stay as they are.
• Edits that clash with another device's are merged and pushed in the same sync. A note you edited while another device deleted it is kept as a new note.
• One engine process per sync, a bounded version history, and a quiet skip when offline.
• The vault's state moves from .icloud-md/ to .icloud-notes/ on the first sync, after a backup copy.

Sign-in (icloud-session 0.5.0)

• A recently checked session is handed out at once, without waiting on Apple, and refreshed in the background.
