HaloCraft 0.1.2: Minecraft inside Halo CE

The first HaloCraft release: Minecraft inside Halo: Combat Evolved, started with one click.

Install

1. Download HaloCraft-0.1.2.zip below and unzip it anywhere.
2. Double-click HaloCraft.exe. It starts the hidden Minecraft, launches Halo: MCC through Steam with anti-cheat disabled, and loads HaloCraft into it.
3. Load any Halo CE level (campaign or a local custom game).

The first time, Prism Launcher asks you to sign in to Minecraft, then downloads Minecraft and Java (a few minutes).

You need: Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Steam with Halo: CE, a Microsoft account that owns Minecraft: Java Edition, and Windows 10 or 11.

Offline only. HaloCraft runs MCC with anti-cheat disabled. Never take mods online.

Windows may show "Windows protected your PC" (the launcher isn't code-signed): More info, then Run anyway.

What's in it

• Building: place and break blocks anywhere on Halo's levels.
• Mining Halo's terrain: dig the ground, rock and Forerunner structures a block at a time (or with TNT); each drops the matching block (grass, sand, stone, iron, planks...).
• Combat: Minecraft weapons hurt the Covenant and Flood with Halo's own hit reactions, real jump crits, straight-flying arrows with a sniper-style bow zoom. Halo's damage hurts Steve, and Steve dying kills Chief.
• Mobs vs. Covenant: zombies, skeletons and creepers attack Halo's characters; iron golems fight the Covenant for you.
• Minecraft's HUD, inventory, crafting and chat inside Halo's frame, Minecraft movement on Halo's geometry, third person (F5).
• Every level load starts fresh, with a starter kit.

Known limitations

• The Covenant don't shoot back at Minecraft mobs yet.
• Halo takes back control of Chief in vehicles and cutscenes.
• Blocks are always lit like daytime.
• Halo's bullets and AI don't see Minecraft blocks, so builds aren't cover yet.
