• Choose silent installation when updating a managed Windows app. The setup wizard remains the default, and fresh installations always use it.
• Update Airlift silently with a clean shutdown and automatic restart after successful installation.
• Preserve the existing installation folder, verify downloads, and reject missing installations or downgrades.
• Use airlift-cli update <app> --silent from the command line.

• Refresh installed versions after package operations and when returning to Airlift.
