Meadow is the Airlift you know: warm greens. Altitude is new — cool blues, high and clear. Choose one under Settings → Appearance, and Airlift remembers it.
The whole interface changes, not just the highlight colour: surfaces, borders, type and the Discover hero all move together, at matching lightness so nothing becomes harder to read.
The Airlift mark keeps its green in both themes, and every app in your catalog keeps its own colour.
Warnings and the close button look the same whichever theme is on, because they mean something rather than decorate.
Every colour in the app now has a name rather than a value, so a future theme is a list of colours and appears in Settings on its own.
✨ A failed release check says so
When GitHub refuses a check — usually its limit on how often an app may ask without signing in — the reason now appears in the status bar, and a check you asked for also opens a dialog explaining the limit, when to try again, and what Airlift is still showing you.
Background checks stay quiet. Only a check you started interrupts you.
