What's New
Activity Map v0.2.3 makes the Header Popover control row fully personal: arrange its six actions in Settings or edit them directly from the popover, without losing the current chart.
Features
- Rearrange controls across either side of the fixed day navigation, or move them to a recoverable disabled row.
- Long-press a control in the Header Popover to enter direct editing, then save or cancel the layout draft.
Improvements
- Dragging now lifts the chosen control beneath the pointer, shows rounded dashed drop slots, and previews sibling reflow before it is placed.
- The chart and legend stay visible during direct editing, and the result area remains vertically centred.

- Add a Locate control beside the metric selector to reveal the current file with a temporary chart-and-legend highlight.
- In path grouping, Locate opens the current file's parent scope when needed, then reveals the file.

What's New
Activity Map v0.1.0 is the first public release of a local-first way to understand where focused time goes in your Obsidian vault. It records trustworthy per-file activity and makes the results available directly from the active file header.
Features
- Track active time, editing time, and file-open counts for the focused file. Background windows, untrackable views, paused tracking, and confirmed idle time are excluded.
- Exclude long sleep and lock-screen gaps from activity totals, while allowing short uncertain gaps to be reviewed explicitly.
- Explore a selected day, 7/30/90-day daily averages, all-history averages, and all-history totals. Drill into folders or switch to a recursive file view for the current path.
- Open a pinnable activity summary from the compact donut in eligible file headers. The header is the only Activity Map entry point; there is no global toolbar button or Command Palette command.
- Keep activity data local to the vault configuration directory. Activity Map includes no account, telemetry, remote API, or upload path, and does not read or store note content, selected text, or typed strings.
Fixes
- Preserve trustworthy activity and recovery evidence across interruptions and restarts.
- Keep the open summary popover stable during live updates and folder drill-down, and retain the selected path/file grouping across reopen and restart.
Improvements
