• .mcp/server.json declares 5 LLM-provider environment variables for MCP Server Registry discovery: OPENAI_API_KEY, ANTHROPIC_API_KEY, GEMINI_API_KEY, VOYAGE_API_KEY, GROQ_API_KEY. All are marked isSecret: true and isRequired: false — Rag uses whichever subset is configured for embedding and contextualization, and serve-mode Elicitation (ADR-001) covers the gap when a key is needed but not present. The descriptor allows the registry listing to surface which keys consumers may want to pre-configure.
• Pack-time VerifyServerJsonVersion MSBuild target (fixed in 04f07db after catching a 2.4.4 → 2.5.0 sync miss that shipped a stale descriptor) continues to catch drift between csproj <Version> and the two version fields in .mcp/server.json.
• publish-mcp-registry.yml GitHub Actions workflow (manual workflow_dispatch) drives the MCP Server Registry update via GitHub OIDC. Run AFTER NuGet indexing because the registry validates the published nupkg README's mcp-name line.
• No runtime behaviour changes; ADR-001 serve-mode Elicitation chain (max 2 re-elicits + session cache) and exec/exec-queue env-only resolution are unaffected.
