Hey @wyaqoob, thanks! You can get most of this today. Set your monitor to "Shows all icons" in Settings > Displays, then pick Panel or Row under "Show hidden icons in" in Settings > Panel. The MacBook gets the panel, the monitor shows everything. Does that cover it, or do you want the monitor to keep hiding icons too? |

Hi Gabriel,
Thanks. But you hit the nail on the head. I do want the monitor to keep
hiding icons yes. Would add more flexibility to have the option.

Makes sense @wyaqoob. Right now "Show hidden icons in" is one choice for every display, so the monitor can't reveal in the bar while the MacBook uses the panel. Picking it per display is a new feature, and a good one. We'll look into it in the upcoming updates. |

Thank you! Very glad to have found your app.

Added in 0.3.3-beta.4, @wyaqoob. Finally real per-display setups! Open Settings › Displays and each display that hides icons now has its own "Reveal in" (Menu bar, Panel or Row). Displays left on "Same as Panel tab" follow Settings › Panel, so nothing changes until you pick. Your monitor can reveal in the menu bar while the MacBook uses the panel, like you asked. A reveal on one display now stays on that display, the others keep their icons hidden. And a display set to "Shows all icons" keeps showing them wherever your pointer is. Before, the display under the pointer decided for every bar, so the MacBook's hidden icons came out as soon as you moved to the monitor. It's on the beta channel for now (Settings › About › "Get beta releases"). Let me know how it works with your setup! |

Amazing, thank you! Will try now.

Uh oh!
There was an error while loading. Please reload this page.
Fantastic app. I've switched after struggling with Thaw on MacOS 27. Pelmet works really well.
I would like to suggest an enhancement to the panel feature. It would be useful to have the ability to configure different settings for each individual display, rather than having a single configuration apply globally across all connected displays. E.g. on my monitor I'm happy for hidden icons to be shown in the menubar, as there is more space, but on my internal Macbook display I'd prefer row or panel. Would that be possible?
