Major Changes:

Sepolia runs as its own stack, kept apart from mainnet: separate -testnet containers, data directories, volumes and Docker network, with the execution client's RPC on 127.0.0.1:8549. --testnet also works with stop, logs, shell and delete, and nodevin request ethereum-testnet queries it. Mainnet and Sepolia can't run at the same time; start tells you which stack to stop first. Choose clients with --execution-client and --consensus-client as on mainnet; reth, geth, erigon, besu, nethermind with lighthouse, prysm, teku or nimbus all work on Sepolia. Lodestar does not work on Sepolia (it finds no peers), and start warns you if you choose it. See the CLI docs.
The published fiftysix/besu image was rebuilt on 2026-09-26: it now keeps its JWT secret across restarts (a restarted besu used to get a new one, which broke its paired consensus client) and accepts flags. Pull the latest image if you run besu.
