@fightheyyy fightheyyy released this 17 Jul 04:12

XiaoBa v0.2.0 brings the downloadable desktop preview in line with the current eight-Role runtime and governed-evolution workflow.

Highlights

  • Adds xiaoba doctor for read-only, offline readiness checks across the model configuration, Roles, BrowserCat, GuiCat, SecretaryCat, Feishu, and Weixin.
  • Ships the current eight default Roles, Inspector-first evolution DAG, Arena review, and explicit human promotion flow.
  • Aligns CLI, Dashboard, Observability, package, and Electron version reporting on one 0.2.0 source.
  • Improves macOS desktop startup by resolving an absolute Node.js path even under a Finder-like minimal PATH.
  • Keeps the unverified automatic-update channel disabled by default and hardens the local release script around commit-bound artifacts.

Verification

  • Source commit: 5b5e1623567f59e2a3583681fb90b47ab1e51dca
  • Full repository tests: 646/646 passed across 99 suites
  • Contract smoke: 6/6 items and 23/23 cases passed; 0 hard failures
  • Benchmark preflight: 1 manifest and 11 cases passed
  • Packaged Dashboard and Pet UI verified from the built .app
  • Finder-like startup verified with a minimal PATH; child services resolved /opt/homebrew/bin/node
  • DMG integrity verified with hdiutil

Preview caveats

  • macOS Apple Silicon (arm64) only.
  • Ad-hoc signed and not Apple-notarized; Gatekeeper may require manual approval.
  • Desktop child services require system Node.js 18+; set XIAOBA_NODE_EXE when Node is not discoverable.
  • BrowserCat requires the external pinned agent-browser 0.31.1 binary.
  • GuiCat requires macOS 15+, Peekaboo 3.8.x, Screen Recording, and Accessibility permissions.
  • SecretaryCat requires a configured and authenticated official lark-cli profile.
  • Dashboard, Pet, and Bridge remain local-first and are not ready for untrusted network exposure.
  • Trace Replay can execute real side effects and should not be batch-run without review.
  • npm audit --omit=dev currently reports 3 moderate and 4 high findings in the Lark SDK/transitive dependency path.

Integrity

  • XiaoBa-0.2.0-mac-arm64.dmg
  • SHA-256: 0617d8f2056c4abfd027e12c1a07c8a6a6a7abf2cb3f4734210a292e7cc4045c

@fightheyyy fightheyyy released this 13 Jul 10:47

XiaoBa is a local-first, IM-native AI coworker runtime with asynchronous role agents, trace replay, evidence capture, and agentic evaluation.

What is included

  • macOS desktop preview packaged with Electron
  • Apple Silicon (arm64) DMG
  • Base Main Agent plus role-agent workflows
  • Feishu and WeChat-oriented interaction surfaces
  • Trace, replay, evidence, and evaluation foundations

Preview caveats

  • This build is ad-hoc signed and not Apple-notarized. macOS Gatekeeper may block first launch.
  • This is a prerelease for technical evaluation, not a production-ready stable build.
  • Clean production/package builds pass. The public source snapshot currently reports 394/398 tests passing; four legacy Di-Jun role fixture/policy assertions remain to be reconciled with the current seven-role architecture.

Integrity

  • Source commit: ab8e587
