Fileverse

End-to-end encrypted workspace & collaboration apps

Fileverse

Collaborate Freely

Fileverse is an end-to-end encrypted workspace and collaboration protocol. You can use its apps (e.g., dDocs & dSheets) to collaborate on documents and spreadsheets, take notes, manage and convert files, write in Markdown and LaTeX, sketch diagrams with MermaidJS, or share a knowledge base, all in complete privacy. Built with sovereignty and decentralization by design, it is an alternative to Google Workspace and Microsoft Office that does not compromise on people's digital rights.

About Fileverse

We believe in a healthier Internet built on open standards, privacy by design, and data sovereignty. Today, online collaboration through workspaces and office suites is mainly serviced through centralized platforms that lock people in, and continuously compromise their privacy and ability to control their own digital lives. Fileverse offers an open alternative that is fast and simple to migrate to.

𓆏 ddocs.new (public beta) is a privacy-focused alternative to Google Docs and Word. Use it as your end-to-end encrypted and sovereign document editor. It is designed to be as fast and feature complete as Gdocs and Word without their lock-in mechanisms. Unique dDocs features also include: offline mode (with no download needed), Markdown/LaTeX/MermaidJS support, Dark mode/color themes, a mobile optimized webapp/PWA, as well as private access permissions & social recovery options that are both leveraging zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs) to protect collaborators' privacy.

𓆣 dsheets.new (public Beta): no-code query, read and manipulate financial data. Use it as your end-to-end encrypted and sovereign spreadsheet alternative to Excel and Google Sheets. It is built on the same middleware as dDocs. It also comes with unique features like Dark mode/color themes, ZKPs to protect collaborators' privacy, and functional templates.

𓆉 Walkaway Page Whatever happens to Fileverse, the ddocs.new app or dsheets.new app, you should always have a way to independently retrieve & decrypt your documents and spreadsheets. This page shows you how. Unlike most Cloud-based apps, which can access your content, feed it to AI, censor it, or lock you out of your account, dDocs and dSheets are built to give you real data sovereignty and reliable backups. You are the ultimate owner of your files. You can self-host it or even access this Walkaway page through its Onion address via Tor for extra privacy.

𓅹 Fileverse Portal(Private Beta) is your collaborative space for everyday activities: file-sharing and storage, collaborative document and spreadsheets, and brainstorming on whiteboards.

𓆡 Fileverse API: lets you enable LLMs (eg Claude, Codex, Cursor), tools, CLI scripts to create, edit, read, and delete end-to-end encrypted documents, sync notes from other apps, and add multiplayer agents or custom skills to docs via MCP. Local deployment keeps data on device at all times, cloud deployment allows always-on access. A secure and verifiable way of programmatically accessing dDocs.
