v0.4.0
- Draw picker: choose rectangle, line, or arrow, then a colour; text and
drawing share five theme-editable colour slots (red, yellow, blue, white,
black). Theme edits recolour existing shapes and text. - Theme format v2 adds
drawColors(v1 files still load); settings v6
migrates the former red/yellow/green/blue/white indices. Previously
saved green drawing and text selections now load as red. - macOS: the Spotlight launcher stages an Electron app bundle before
replacing the old one, and runs ascom.kristofiak.hlitinstead of Electron. - macOS: rerun the installer after Electron upgrades; replace Dock pins
created before this launcher identity change. - macOS: About hlit shows the app version, Filip Kristofiak credit, and
https://hlit.app.
v0.3.0
- macOS:
scripts/create-macos-launcher.shinstalls a searchable
~/Applications/hlit.appthat opens this checkout without a terminal. - macOS: the repo-launched Dock icon now uses an inset rounded plate with
transparent corners instead of the square logo (swift scripts/make-macos-icon.swift
regenerates the PNG). - Windows:
scripts/create-shortcut.ps1adds a Start Menu entry and a
Ctrl+Alt+Hlaunch hotkey (seedocs/running.md).
v0.2.0
- Mask group (
M): noise, pixelate, light and dark styles; overlapping
highlights are tinted. - Draw group (
D): outline rectangles and arrows. Annotate group (A):
inline text boxes. - Resize the image (
R/Shift+Cmd+R), with fewer copies of the pasted
image buffer. - Right-click the active-group swatch to open its picker; the help overlay
now fits the window and scrolls. - The light/dark flip moved from
otoi. - Fixed key bindings on Windows: the renderer owns every Ctrl chord, and
View ▸ Reload sits on F5 so Ctrl+R stays redo. - The hlit logo is used as the app icon (dock, window, taskbar).
- The help footer links to the GitHub repo, opened in the system browser.
- Settings files from 0.1.0 are migrated on load (settings format v2 → v5).
