Startup mode and fixes

Feature:
- Startup mode: when selected, will intensely poll (every second) until either 3 minutes have passed or all enabled services are green

Documentation:
- Readme updated with how to bypass macos quarantine

Fixes:
- Redirect network errors to `/dev/null` outside of build/dev environment to slow down syslog log rotation
- Real-time menu updates: the menu will now update even when open.
