SimGolf Remastered for Windows 0.1.19

Classic construction controls and sharp original-interface text.

  • Restores the original construction wheel and Course/Buildings trays with modern top stats. Options can switch back to the combined Course palette and its path-material and lamp pickers.
  • Renders legacy text at display resolution on Windows, with original or modern fonts, correct clipping and no low-resolution double text.
  • Uses the existing optional HD art pack for the faithful original construction-panel artwork. Original artwork still works without the pack.
  • Remembers the construction-menu preference after restarting and preserves the original HUD, bitmap-text and vanilla controls.
  • Keeps the path materials, optional lamps, drag placement, roster, Living Club and fixes already shipped.

Download the Windows ZIP and run Setup.cmd, or use the in-game updater.
Your own original SimGolf data and supported version 1.02 no-CD executable are required.
No original game files are included. Existing settings and saved games are retained.

Verification and remaining work

The Windows ALL build, original and modern font routes at 1080p/4K, real mouse
construction controls, live Options changes, fresh-process preference recovery,
the full original HUD and vanilla presentation passed. Text recording, copying,
clipping and native raster tests include a regression-sensitive negative control.
The required source check passed with explicitly recorded skips; native build
and gameplay were checked separately.

The exact ZIP passes CRC, full privacy and asset-identity checks. The actual
0.1.18 updater passed prepare/apply, preserved settings, saves and custom mods,
and the upgraded game passed real construction and Options controls without
replacing its older built-in mod definition.

The wider 91-stage gameplay regression, browser and optional HD-art network
download were not repeated. Appearance and feel remain open for player feedback.
The separate experimental Terrain Mod remains unchanged and optional.
