Guard Mode (formerly "insight mode" / "max mode")

AI and human both suffer from insufficient thinking — acting on premature conclusions and assumptions without validation. Guard mode catches it.

The reasoning analysis feature is now called Guard Mode. If you were using buddy_mode max=true or buddy_mode insight=true, both still work as deprecated aliases. The new command is:

buddy_mode guard=true

Multi-host support

The installer now auto-configures hooks for Codex CLI, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot CLI in addition to Claude Code. No manual config needed.

Re-run the one-liner installer:

Existing users: Your database migrates automatically on first startup — max_mode or insight_mode columns are renamed to guard_mode and your on/off setting is preserved. No manual steps needed.
