FiQ is built on a simple principle: your financial data belongs to you and you alone. We collect nothing, transmit nothing, and store everything only on your device.
All your financial data — including transactions, accounts, categories, budgets, and subscription records — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's Core Data framework. Nothing is ever uploaded to a server, cloud service, or third-party system.
FiQ operates entirely offline. The app makes no network connections at any time. Your data never leaves your iPhone or iPad, and no internet connection is required to use any feature.
The AI-powered features in FiQ, including category suggestions and the FiQ chat assistant, run entirely on your device using Apple's on-device machine learning frameworks. No data is sent to external AI services.
If you enable subscription reminders, FiQ schedules local notifications on your device. These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on-device; no data is sent externally to trigger them.
You have full control over your data at all times. You can delete any or all app data within the app via Settings → Delete Data. Deleting the app from your device permanently removes all data stored by FiQ.

By using the FiQ application, you agree to these terms. Because FiQ is a local-only application, your use of the app is primarily governed by your own management of the device and the data contained within it.
All data entered into FiQ is stored locally on your device. You own this data. The developer has no access to your financial records, transactions, or personal information.
Because your data is stored locally, the security of your information depends on the security of your device. We recommend using FaceID/TouchID and device passcodes to protect your information. The developer is not responsible for data loss due to device theft, hardware failure, or accidental deletion.
FiQ is provided "as is" without any warranties. The app is a tool for personal financial tracking and should not be considered professional financial advice. The developer is not liable for any financial decisions or outcomes resulting from the use of the app.
