v26.10.08
v26.10.08 (2026-10-24)
Added
- Integrate the complete Agentic framework as the optional native
pyfly.agentic
module, with agents, tools, memory, content ingestion, embeddings, vector stores,
reasoning, pipelines, workflows, evaluation, security and observability. - Add application-owned configuration, dependency injection,
AgentFactory,
registries, usage/quota accounting and provider/resource lifecycle management.
Agent beans must come from their application's factory or receive its runtime
explicitly; unmanaged and foreign beans fail startup with guidance. - Add namespaced
agenticandagentic-*extras. Existing framework extras keep
their meanings; the base installation does not require an AI SDK. - Compose relational, PostgreSQL, MongoDB and pgvector persistence with native
pyfly.datadatasources, clients and transaction managers. Memory operations
join the application's unit of work and preserve rollback and resource ownership. - Add agents, tools, workflows and usage/quota views to the admin console, with
per-application inventories and the console's existing authorization controls. - Apply the canonical
fireflyframework/brand-kitlogos, Manrope font, colors and
favicon throughoutpyfly admin, including light, dark and mobile layouts. - Publish downloadable SHA-256 checksums for every package and book release asset.
- Expose Agentic in CLI project creation, the interactive feature wizard and
feature management, plus an explicit installer option. Generated Agentic
applications select the official GitHub Release wheel for their CLI version.
Changed
- Require migration from
fireflyframework_agentictopyfly.agenticwithout
legacy aliases. Public APIs useAgent,AgentTool,AgenticConfig,agent
andagent_tool; see the native migration guide for the complete name map. - Isolate provider credentials and HTTP-client ownership between applications,
preserve owner-loop affinity, and close/reopen owned model resources on runtime
shutdown/restart. Blocking on the owner loop and cross-loop streaming fail
clearly rather than reusing a client on the wrong loop. - Exclude nested virtual environments, caches and generated book review artifacts
from source distributions. - Await native application events and async memory operations, route managed HTTP
tools throughHttpClientPort, and initialize plugins through native DI and lifecycle. - Encrypt typed memory content when configured and reject ambiguous legacy
namespace/schema layouts with explicit migration guidance. Conversation history
remains process-local; persistent working facts use the configured memory store. - Reject removed standalone configuration controls instead of accepting settings
that no longer affect native behavior. - Keep PostgreSQL JSONB variants executable in Alembic revisions generated on
SQLite by importing their nested text type.
Documentation
- Integrate every standalone guide and example into the framework documentation,
with native configuration, DI/lifecycle, migration and local Ollama tutorials. - Add matching English and Spanish book chapters and runnable companions covering
agents/tools, knowledge/reasoning and workflow operations.
Standalone repository archival remains gated on publication and verification of
this replacement release and its migration notice.
