Summary

  • Playback prefs persist to config.toml (on quit + every ~5s): volume, EQ, repeat, speed, pitch, smart shuffle — next launch restores them; explicit flags still win
  • Session resume: msc play with no paths/flags restores the saved queue and re-opens the last track paused at the saved position (toggle in settings c → Resume or resume = false)
  • Discord Rich Presence (opt-in): settings c → Discord or discord_rpc = true; local IPC only, live progress bar, pause-aware, works in msc browse and headless play — needs a Discord application id (discord_rpc_id in config) until a built-in one is registered
  • msc browse starts with saved playback prefs
  • Removed the Tauri desktop surface; the native GPUI app in src-gpui/ is the desktop line going forward
  • Beta channel cut
