Upgrading Your Config

Finding your config version

The first thing you have to do is find your config version. If you type staffcommunication reload in the console and your config needs to be updated, a warning will be displayed. It will tell you your current config version as well as what the plugin expects it to be. Below, you can find instructions for upgrading from all config versions to the next one. If you are multiple versions behind (for instance, upgrading from version 1 to version 3), you will need to first upgrade to version 2, then from 2 to 3. Updating the config version

Once you have updated the config, you can change the do-not-edit: config-version: <number> to the new version. I know it says "do not edit", but this is the one exception where you can edit it. If you don't edit it, the plugin will work just fine, but you will get a warning every time the plugin is loaded or the config is reloaded.

Instructions

Choose the version you are upgrading from

Upgrading from version 0 to 1

Adding toggle messages

First, you need to add the toggle messages. You can do this by adding the following code within the messages section of the config file.
toggles:
    staff:
        enable: "yourMessage"
        disable: "yourMessage"
    admin:
        enable: "yourMessage"
        disable: "yourMessage"

Adding toggle setting

Secondly, you need to add the toggle setting within the settings section. toggle-with-no-message: [choose true or false]

This setting, if true, toggle the staff or admin chat on and off when typing /sc or /ac with no message
