Installing on PC

Back to Home

Requirements

  • Windows OS (other OSs work but are not covered here)
  • Free disk space: 1.5–2.5 GB
  • Free RAM: 6–16 GB (see RAM requirements)
  • WinRAR or 7-Zip

Installation Steps

  1. Download the setup from the resource page on BuiltByBit.
  2. Place the downloaded file in a folder of your choice.
  3. Right-click the archive → Extract Here.
  4. Open the extracted folder and add the dependencies listed in the included text file.
  5. Find server.bat (or server) inside the folder and double-click it to launch the server console.
  6. Open Minecraft → Multiplayer → add server IP localhost → connect.

Letting Other Players Join

Option 1 — Port Forwarding

Forward your Minecraft port (default 25565) so external players can connect using your public IP.

Option 2 — Playit.gg (No Port Forwarding Needed)

Playit.gg tunnels player connections through their cloud to your PC — no router configuration required.
