Main story

This release is a maintenance update. It bumps the package version to 4.4.78, refreshes dependencies (and the lockfile), and includes a few repo hygiene updates (.gitignore and LICENSE sync). There are no source-code/runtime behavior changes in this range.

What changed

Dependencies & lockfile

  • Updated npm dependencies and regenerated package-lock.json.
  • Current runtime dependency ranges in package.json:
    • @fjell/logging: ^4.4.71
    • @fjell/types: ^4.4.8
    • @fjell/validation: ^4.4.5
    • deepmerge: ^4.3.1
    • luxon: ^3.7.2

Impact

  • Consumers should see the usual patch-level benefits from updated upstream packages once they reinstall (bugfixes/security patches may come in transitively).
  • Developers/CI should run a clean install (npm ci / npm install) to pick up the refreshed lockfile.

Note: package-lock.json still lists the root package version as 4.4.78-dev.0 while package.json is 4.4.78. This typically doesn’t affect published runtime code, but it can be confusing in audits/tooling that reads lockfile metadata. If your pipeline validates versions from the lockfile, regenerate the lockfile from a workspace where package.json is already at 4.4.78.

Repo housekeeping

  • Updated .gitignore to exclude additional generated/output files and local environment/config artifacts (including various .env.* files and other local working directories/files).
  • Synchronized LICENSE and docs/LICENSE (copyright notice update).

Breaking changes

  • No breaking changes detected in the diff for this release (no API or runtime code changes).
