WatchAmp 4.0.0 adds watchOS 27 compatibility, Navidrome/OpenSubsonic support alongside Plex and Jellyfin, plus M4B audiobook playback features, a sleep timer, seek controls, optional full-screen or expanded Now Playing artwork, faster library startup, and more reliable Premium access recovery.

Notes for M4B Audiobooks Beta:

  • Only M4B files are recognized as Audiobooks at this time. MP3 Audiobooks will continue to play as music albums and will not display speed and chapter buttons.
  • M4B files with AAC audio will always Direct Play even when transcodes are on enabled in WatchAmp's settings.
  • M4B files with an incompatible codec (such as EAC3) will transcode when transcodes are enabled.
