WatchAmp 4.0.0 adds Navidrome/OpenSubsonic support alongside Plex and Jellyfin, plus M4B audiobook playback features, a sleep timer, optional full-screen Now Playing artwork, faster library startup, and more reliable Premium access recovery.

Fixes in this update:

  • Plex users could experience playback glitches and repeat audio when transcoding was enabled.
  • WatchAmp background downloads queue persistence is no longer suspended immediately when lowering wrist or exiting to clock. watchOS will still suspend large queues over time, but queues will resume when WatchAmp is reopened and more tracks will download when WatchAmp is backgrounded than before. For large download queues, it is recommended to keep WatchAmp in focus and the screen on.
