Companion App Guide

The WatchAmp companion app on iPhone helps you set up the watch app, review help content, and manage subscription access.

Main Screens

• App Walkthrough: introduces WatchAmp and the setup process.
• Setup Guide: helps get WatchAmp installed and ready on Apple Watch.
• FAQ: answers common setup, account, and playback questions.
• Subscription: shows subscription options and account status.

Recommended Setup Flow

1. Open WatchAmp Companion on iPhone.
2. Review the walkthrough.
3. Open the setup guide.
4. Confirm the watch app is installed on Apple Watch.
5. Open WatchAmp on Apple Watch.
6. Complete Plex sign-in from the watch app.
7. Return to the companion FAQ if playback or setup problems occur.

Subscription

Use the Subscription screen to:

• check your current access
• choose a subscription option when required
• restore purchases if you have already subscribed
• refresh status if the app does not immediately recognize your access

Watch Installation

If WatchAmp does not appear on Apple Watch:

1. Confirm the iPhone and Apple Watch are paired.
2. Confirm WatchAmp Companion is installed on iPhone.
3. Open the Watch Install Manager in the companion app.
4. Follow the setup guide.
5. Check the Apple Watch app list again.

When to Use the Companion App

Use the iPhone companion app when:

• you are setting up WatchAmp for the first time
• you need help installing the watch app
• you want to manage subscription access
• you want to read the FAQ on a larger screen
