Pages and Controls
This page explains the main WatchAmp screens on Apple Watch.
WatchAmp is organized around the things you do most often:
- Library: browse Plex music libraries and local downloads.
- Search: find artists, albums, tracks, and playlists.
- Now Playing: control active playback.
- Queue: view upcoming music and move between tracks.
- Downloads: view downloaded albums and tracks
- Settings: manage app settings.
Use Library to browse music from Plex or local downloads.
- Swipe to the Library tab. Here you can view your Plex Music Libraries or on device Downloads

- Choose a music library.
- Browse artists, albums, playlists, or one of Plex's Hubs.
- Select an album or track.

- Tap on a track, or use the Play All or Shuffle buttons at the top of the image to start playback.
When downloaded music is available, the Library screen can also show a Downloads source. Use it when you are offline or want to play local files.
- Waveform Button, Top Left: Immediately return to Now Playing Tab (Only visible at top Library Level)
- Back Button, Top Left: Return to previous screen when navigating Library (Only visible at album, artist, and alphabet pages)
- Choose Library Button, Top Right: If you have multiple Plex Libraries or On Device Downloads, you can switch between them. (Only visible on Library Hub page)
Use Search when you know what you want to play.

- Open Search.
- Enter text or use voice input.
- Select a result.
- Start playback from the result detail.
Search needs access to your Plex server. If you are offline, use Downloads instead.

- Waveform Button, Top Left: Immediately return to Now Playing Tab
- Microphone Button, Top Right: Use voice or other input methods to enter your search
Now Playing shows the active track and transport controls.

Use it to:
- pause or resume playback
- skip to the next track
- return to the previous track
- see what is currently playing
- adjust volume with the Digital Crown
The queue shows the current playback order.

Use it to:
- see what is playing now
- see what will play next
- move through an album, playlist, or selected group of tracks
- set repeat and shuffle options for current play queue.
- Waveform Button, Top Left: Immediately return to Now Playing Tab
- Trashcan Button, Top Right: Clear the current play queue and stop playback
- Repeat Button: Control if the entire queue will Repeat when finished (Orange), a single track will repeat (Blue), or playback stops when the end of the queue is reached (Gray).
- Shuffle Button: Shuffle the current play queue.
Use Downloads and Settings to manage local files and playback preferences. In progress downloads will be listed at the top of this page. Completed downloads will have a Green Check Mark in the list.

- Waveform Button, Top Left: Immediately return to Now Playing Tab. (Only visible when there are no active downloads)
- Cancel Button, Top Left: Cancel in progress downloads and remove them from download queue. (Only visible when there are active downloads)
- Trashcan Button, Top Right: Delete all local downloads from the watch.

- Tap on an Album: Enter the album and view downloaded tracks.
- Tap on a Track:
- If nothing is currently playing, this will Start Playback.
- Replace: If content is currently playing, the user will have the option to Replace the current queue
- Play Next: Adds track to the playback queue starting as next track. Completes currently playing track.
- Play Later: Adds track to the end of the current play queue.
- Cancel Button: Returns to previous screen.

- Long Press on Album:
- Play Album: Starts album playback immediately.
- Play Next: Adds album to the playback queue starting as next track. Completes currently playing track.
- Play Later: Adds album to the end of the current play queue.
- Delete Album: Removes the album and all of its tracks from the on device downloads. Does not affect content on Plex Server.
- Cancel Button, Top Left: Returns to previous screen
- Long Press on Track:
- Play Next: Adds track to the playback queue starting as next track. Completes currently playing track.
- Play Later: Adds track to the end of the current play queue.
- Cancel Button: Returns to previous screen.
