This page explains the WatchAmp's Settings Screen on Apple Watch.
Use this setting to change Plex Home Users or swap to another Plex server.
If the user has access to more than one Plex Library, they can use this setting to switch between them.
Use the Connect Headphones button to activate watchOS's BlueTooth Connection screen.
Enable this setting to play music on the Apple Watch's external speaker.
NOTE: Not all Apple Watches support external speaker for music playback. If you do not hear audio, please try connecting a pair of Bluetooth headphones.
Enable or disable Plex Server Side transcoding. When enabled, all music files are transcoded to MP3 for streaming and offline playback. User can choose between 128 kbps or 256 kbps quality settings.
When this setting is disabled, WatchAmp will attempt to Direct Play all music and download original formatted tracks for offline playback. This may result in longer playback start times, codec playback warnings for unsupported codecs, and larger downloaded files.
While WatchAmp does allow Plex's Direct Play for Apple supported codecs, Direct Play can be very bandwidth intensive and can sometimes starve watchOS network resources, especially on older devices. It is highly recommended to leave Transcoding enabled for WatchAmp playback.
Enable Plex UltraBlur for a more modern and vibrant look or disable it to revert to the original design.
View the total number of downloaded and pre-cached songs currently being stored on your watch. Use Clear Downloads or Clear Play Cache to quickly remove those tracks from your device.
WatchAmp currently has a maximum Download limit of 10,000 tracks for on device playback, so long as the device has enough storage. WatchAmp version 1 has a limit of 100 tracks for on device playback.
WatchAmp limits playback Pre-Cache content to 500 MB of space.
Activate and check your WatchAmp Premium subscription status here. To cancel you subscription, please use the WatchAmp iPhone Companion App installed on your iPhone, or visit your AppleID Subscription settings on one of your non-watch Apple Devices.
Use the
Use the Sign out button to sign out of your Plex Server.
NOTE: If you have an active WatchAmp Premium subscription, it is not automatically cancelled by signing out of the app. You need to cancel your subscription through the WatchAmp iPhone companion app, or through your AppleID Subscription settings on a non-watch Apple Device.
