I have 2 batteries and tried one on each protocol, but still does not
connect.
Batteries were already manually paired to HAOS. Not sure that is required
as you have the pin in your config setup.
Perhaps it is just a poor ble setup on the battery.

superb_v2_ble maps to aiobmsble's superb_v2_bms plugin. batmon strips the
_ble suffix, appends _bms, and imports aiobmsble.bms.<name>_bms, so
superb_v2_ble becomes aiobmsble.bms.superb_v2_bms.
For the older/non-v2 Super-B implementation the matching type would be
superb_ble, but for “Super-B Epsilon v2” I would start with superb_v2_ble.
If it still logs Unknown device type, update/rebuild the add-on so it has
a recent aiobmsble. If the type is accepted but the device is not found,
use the exact Bluetooth MAC or the device name shown in the add-on
discovery log.

What do I set BMS 'type' in config to so that I can connect Super-B Epsilon v2 BMS via aiobmsble.
Super-B Epsilon v2 BMS is not natively supported by batmon, but is by aiobmsble.
