Note Repo 2.3 shows an X post as a titled link. The title is the first line of the post.

What's new

  • X posts are links. Paste a post from X and you get the first line of its text, the same way a blog link shows its title. noterepo add does the same. The preview card is gone. A post you saved before stays as its URL until you paste the link again.

The changelog lists what changed in every release.

Install

If you have 2.2, Note Repo offers this update by itself. Click Install and Relaunch, or choose Note Repo → Check for Updates… to get it right away.

Otherwise, download NoteRepo-2.3.0.zip, unzip it, and drag Note Repo to your Applications folder. It runs on Apple silicon and Intel Macs with macOS 14 or later.

To use the CLI, link it into a folder on your PATH:

mkdir -p ~/.local/bin
ln -s /Applications/NoteRepo.app/Contents/Resources/bin/noterepo ~/.local/bin/noterepo

Your notes stay in a SQLite file on your Mac. There are no accounts.
