Work Tracebook 1.2
Work Tracebook 1.2 is signed with my Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple.
What's new
- No more security warning. The first time you opened Work Tracebook, macOS used to say it "could not verify Work Tracebook is free of malware", and you had to click Open Anyway in System Settings. Now it opens like other apps you download: macOS asks if you're sure you want to open an app from the internet, and you click Open.
- Nothing else changed. Your event log, the
factorylogCLI and the agent instructions stay the same.
The changelog lists what changed in every release.
Install
If you already use Work Tracebook, it offers this update by itself. Click Install and Relaunch, or choose Work Tracebook → Check for Updates… to get it right away.
Otherwise, download Factory-Log-1.2.0.zip, unzip it, and drag Work Tracebook to your Applications folder. It runs on macOS 15 Sequoia or later, on Apple silicon and Intel Macs.
Everything Work Tracebook records stays on your Mac, in a plain JSONL file, and it never reads your code, diffs or terminal.
