v2.0.0 - Analytics Engine

@freebuff-web freebuff-web released this 30 Sep 14:47

Highlights

Analytics engine (new). Five state-of-the-art modules ship behind a single composite endpoint, GET /analytics/{commodity}, and a new Analyst Lab dashboard page:

  • Split conformal prediction + Adaptive Conformal Inference for distribution-free forecast intervals
  • PSI / KS / Page-Hinkley / EWMA drift monitoring with a 0-100 data-quality score
  • Extreme-value (peaks-over-threshold GPD) VaR and expected shortfall
  • Cross-fitted partially-linear debiased ML for rainfall-price sensitivity
  • Kalman local-linear-trend nowcasting for incomplete reporting months

Fixes

  • /ask detects commodities on word boundaries, so the phrase "price-spike" no longer detects Rice; it also falls back to RDD/forecast tools when a commodity has no trained classifier
  • Two GitHub Actions workflows that failed YAML parsing are repaired
  • /admin/ingest-historical no longer references os before its import

Tests. The automated suite is restored and expanded: 49 tests covering the no-mock-data guard, scheduler integrity, API contracts, /ask regressions and synthetic ground-truth analytics. The global test_*.py gitignore rule that silently blocked new test files is fixed.

Docs. The README now documents the analytics engine, all analysis endpoints, the test suite layout and the updated roadmap. Em dashes were removed repository-wide.
