Fleasion v2.2.1
VERSION 2.2.1 UPDATE
THIS IS A HOTFIX FOR V2.2.0 TO FIX A MAJOR ISSUE RELATING TO CERTIFICATE READ ONLY FLAG CLEARING.
Major Patch: Linux/Sober support, Private Subplace Server support, more columns added to the scraper menu, and LOTS OF BUG FIXES. TOO MANY.
This update ended up being much larger than a normal patch.
Main Features
- Fleasion now has Linux/Sober support for the first time. The new Linux build is made for the Sober Flatpak and includes Sober launching, desktop install support, Sober asset paths, Sober FFlags, Sober cache clearing, Linux proxy/certificate handling, and Linux Roblox login discovery.
- Added Private Subplace Server support. The Account Manager can now launch accounts into private/VIP server subplaces instead of being limited to the root place.
- Private subplace joining supports Roblox private server links, access codes, link codes, reserved/private game joins, and job ID flows.
- Fleasion now protects its managed Roblox files while it is open, then restores normal permissions on exit. This helps stop Roblox launch/update activity from overwriting active replacements mid-session.
- Added a first-run Run on Boot prompt so users can choose whether Fleasion should start automatically without digging through settings.
- Added
Cached At,Updated At, andCreated Atfields to the cache viewer column picker and search-column picker.
Linux and Sober
- Added the first Linux build path for Fleasion through Sober (
org.vinegarhq.Sober). - The Linux build can launch Sober from normal
roblox:androblox-player:links. - Built-in modifications and replacement paths are mapped to Sober's asset overlay and resource layout.
- FFlags write to Sober's
config.json. - Clear Cache includes Sober storage locations, including
rbx-storage. - The Linux proxy helper handles certificate trust, temporary hosts changes, local proxy routing, DNS refreshes, and cleanup.
- Linux Roblox login discovery can use Sober and supported browser locations.
Private Subplace Servers
- Account Manager joins can now target a specific subplace inside a private server.
- VIP/private server links can now be launched with a subplace ID.
- Private game and reserved game join requests now preserve the subplace launch target.
- Fleasion handles the Roblox launch state needed for subplace teleports so private subplace joins do not fall back to the wrong place.
- Roblox launcher fragments such as
JoinPlace,JoinGame, andJoinPrivateGameare no longer mistaken for raw job IDs.
Cache Viewer
Cached At,Updated At, andCreated Atcan be shown or hidden through the column picker.- Search column selection now supports
Cached At,Updated At, andCreated At. - Asset timestamps are cached in the local index so they do not need to be refetched every time.
- Right-clicking the column visibility menu no longer toggles a column by accident.
- File dialogs now show extensionless Roblox cache files instead of hiding them behind
*.*.
macOS Improvements
- macOS Roblox login handling is more reliable.
- Browser cookie discovery checks more macOS browser families and Firefox profile locations.
- Browser login choices are validated before they are saved.
- Safari is handled explicitly with guidance instead of being treated as a working cookie source.
- Manual
.ROBLOSECURITYtoken import is available when automatic browser extraction is not possible. - Imported/manual tokens and browser login choices are stored with local encrypted storage.
- Bad cached browser auth entries are cleaned up instead of causing repeated login failures.
- macOS proxy certificate cleanup and helper startup handling were tightened, fixing a large chunk of macOS proxy/login issues.
- macOS Intel builds and helper startup are more reliable.
- macOS crashes related to optional colorscheme handling were fixed.
- Placeholder text and OBJ viewing issues on macOS were fixed.
Replacer, Modifications, and Assets
- ORM TexturePack slot replacements were fixed.
- Raw cache file replacements on asset IDs are more reliable, including cases where Roblox cache bytes include metadata before the actual asset data.
- TexturePack slot handling was tightened so slot metadata, stale exports, duplicate request handling, and slot-specific replacements stay in sync.
- Animation replacements strip old metadata headers before rig detection and R6/R15 conversion.
- Roblox Studio resource directories are excluded from modification scanning so Fleasion does not accidentally target Studio installs.
- Invalid modification configs no longer crash the modifications tab.
- Invalid JSON config files are handled more safely instead of crashing startup flows.
- Replacer tree sorting is more stable and consistent.
- Restore/write operations now clear Fleasion's temporary read-only guard when needed, then reapply protection afterward.
Proxy and Technical Fixes
- Added IPv6 loopback support for proxy interception where available.
- Proxy startup failures no longer silently rewrite the saved proxy mode setting.
- Helper startup failures now leave proxy features disabled with a visible reason instead of allowing a half-started state.
- Proxy upstream resolution and connection handling were tightened for cases where Roblox endpoints are affected by local hosts overrides.
- Fleasion now tracks whether gamejoin and asset traffic actually reached the proxy, making missing-interception cases easier to diagnose.
- HTTP/CDN downloads are more resilient when Roblox serves private or certificate-sensitive content.
- CDN downloads now have stronger TLS retry and fallback behavior.
Cache Previewers and Media
- Audio previews are more stable.
- Closing or switching away from audio previews is less likely to freeze the UI.
- Spacebar behavior while viewing audio has been adjusted so normal UI pass-through works again.
- OBJ/model preview setup is more robust.
- FPS-style preview controls now normalize keyboard input across supported platforms.
- Model preview setup was hardened to reduce blank or crashing previews.
- The asset type filter popup is now shared by the cache and replacer flows, with better sizing and filtering behavior.
Windows Improvements
- Windows DLL loading was hardened by adding safer search-directory handling for bundled/runtime DLLs.
- Roblox launch command extraction now handles unquoted executable paths such as
C:\Program Files\...\RobloxPlayerBeta.exe "%1". - Stale Windows tray/dashboard icons are cleaned up more reliably on exit.
- Windows proxy and launcher flows share the same safer proxy startup and failure behavior added across platforms.
UI and Quality of Life
- Replacer config editing and enabled-item widgets now size correctly.
- Editing and enabled tabs/selectors in the replacer UI are wider and easier to read.
- The proxy gate can now be dismissed.
- Subplace card titles no longer overflow into their preview images.
- Duplicate or overly repetitive window title text was cleaned up in several dialogs.
- Settings now persist proxy mode only after explicit user selection.

- Fixed a crash when the modifications tab loaded an invalid config.
- Fixed startup crashes caused by malformed JSON config data.
- Fixed stale TexturePack slot exports.
- Fixed TexturePack fidelity/quality slot mapping issues.
- Fixed animation rig conversion failures caused by old metadata headers.

- Fixed Firefox profile discovery on macOS.
- Fixed macOS proxy startup on x86 builds.
- Fixed macOS OBJ preview issues.
- Fixed Windows stale icon cleanup.
- Fixed Windows Roblox command parsing for unquoted install paths.
- Fixed file dialogs hiding extensionless Roblox files.
- Fixed read-only managed files interfering with Fleasion's own restore/write operations.
