Changelog

  • Added support for parsing recursive types in FIP and implemented it in fip-c (commit)
  • Added proper timestamp printing to the fip_print logging function (commit)
  • Implemented the fip_print_msg function, it's body was blank until now (commit)
  • Fixed very nasty bug of the fip_master_await_responses function. It awaited responses on stdout of the slave but never flushed the stderr of the slave(s). This means that the pipe buffer of stderr of the slave(s) get's full at some point which means the fip_print calls become locking, as the slave waits for the stream to be cleared / read from. It meant that the slave would literally just stop it's execution until the master's timeout was over. The other possibility is that the master locked the stderr pipe of the slave because it waited on the stdout pipe of it, i am not 100% sure actually, either the buffer was full or the master deadlocked the slave. I am still not quite sure what of those two it actually was, but it definitely was one of them! (commit)
  • Rolled back response awaiting timeout from 10ms to 1ms (commit)
  • Changed overly verbose prints from WARN to DEBUG (commit)
  • Made the fip-c executable static on linux (commit)
