Installer Hotfix

Fixes

  • Installer now preserves your settings on update — resolution scale, anti-aliasing, texture filtering, fullscreen, and controller preferences are kept instead of being overwritten with defaults
  • Skips ISO re-extraction if game data is already present — updates are much faster now
  • Correct version number — the installer reads the version from its payload instead of using a hardcoded 0.2.0-alpha. The launcher will now show the correct installed version on both the Play and Updates pages
  • Logging defaults to off — the installer forces log_level=off on install/update. Users can re-enable logging in Settings if needed for crash reports. The log generation causes performance drops since they are quite aggressive. Default is now off. The generated logs also amount to a high file size on disk. The launcher clears previous log files on launch.
  • Logging toggle moved from the Play page to the Settings page (under Controls)
  • Play button saves settings silently — no more dialog popup when launching the game

Upgrade

The auto-updater will detect this as a new version. Download DantesInfernoInstaller.exe and run it to update.
