First public alpha release. The game is playable from start to finish.

What's included

  • Self-contained installer (no prerequisites)
  • Standalone launcher with graphics, input, and advanced settings
  • Mouse & keyboard support
  • DualSense, DualShock, Xbox controller support (via SDL3)
  • Crash minidump generation (xmd_crash_*.dmp)
  • Version string printed in logs

Requirements

  • Windows 10/11 x64
  • A legally obtained X-Men Destiny Xbox 360 ISO

Known issues

  • This is an early alpha; some bugs may remain.
  • Button icon texture replacement is disabled.
  • Some visual effects may not render correctly.
  • Crashes are expected, please submit your crash logs

Installation

  1. Run xmd_installer.exe
  2. Select your X-Men Destiny ISO
  3. Choose install location
  4. Launch from the desktop shortcut
