This is the first beta release of Pi Agent Kernel, a Pi extension for focused code retrieval, surgical editing, safety checks, and language-server support.

Included

• AST-aware repository maps and symbol search
• BM25 code search with optional hybrid and full embedding profiles
• Grounded edits with coverage checks and syntax verification
• Bounded command output and exact tool-result deduplication
• Python, Rust, TypeScript, and other language-server integrations
• Session-aware diagnostics, references, and search-index freshness checks
• The default retrieval profile is lean. Hybrid and full profiles can be selected when local embeddings are useful.

This is a beta release. APIs and behavior may change as the extension is used and tested in more environments.
