tmuxy v0.1.1
tmuxy 0.1.1: a session switcher that copes with many sessions, and Kitty images drawn the way kitten icat sends them through tmux.
Install
- macOS:
brew install --cask flplima/tap/tmuxy - Linux:
brew install flplima/tap/tmuxy, or the AppImage / .deb below - From source: see the README
What's new since 0.1.0
Sessions
- The session switcher filters as you type: type part of a name, press Enter, and you are there. The arrows move through the list and Escape closes it. A long list scrolls inside the switcher instead of running off the screen, and the detached screen uses the same list.
- On the desktop the switcher is drawn in the app rather than as a native menu, since a native menu has nowhere to type.
- The status line names the server you just connected to straight away, not the one before (#129).
- Keys typed into a text box stay in it while the tree column has the keyboard:
qno longer closes the column andj/kno longer move its selection.
Terminal
- Kitty images sent with Unicode placeholders (what
kitten icatdoes inside tmux) render, whatever their image id, including compressed payloads (#128). - Python tools run in a pane of the Linux AppImage (such as
kitten icat) no longer pick up the AppImage's own Python paths. - An image that fails to load now leaves a warning in the browser console and the desktop app's log.
Thanks
@tarsioonofrio for the Kitty placeholder support, the AppImage fix and the host label fix.
@Petrox for #60, whose many-session setup is what the filtering, scrolling session switcher was built for.
