Elite3XP-v3.2.7
Flashing the TAR file can run the risk of potential bootloop. Flash tar ONLY if you are resetting the phone and want to install this kernel, or if you have done it already once and since then haven't reset the phone; then it is safe to flash.
Bugfix 2...
- Fix bootloop when sideloading zip file
- mali_kbase: Improve DVFS utilization accuracy
- Upstream mali_kbase and scheduler patches
- Fix GCC compiler warnings
ZIP - TWRP:
Method 1: Just reboot to twrp and flash the zip from anywhere.
Method 2: Use adb sideload and flash it directly from your computer.
TAR - ODIN:
1: Reboot your device to download mode.
2: Open odin.
3: Load the kernel tar file in AP slot.
4: If you haven't flashed disabled vbmeta yet, patch your vbmeta to disable it or download this disabled vbmeta and load it in BL slot.
5: Press start.
Notes:
If you use magisk, you will have to reflash magisk zip after flashing the kernel.
If you don't want KernelSU just don't install the manager, it won't make a difference; magisk will work just fine; or use non-KSU variant
Kernel Flasher is recommended to flash the kernel as it is easier and safer.
Data gets re-encrypted even after decrypting from TWRP... In order to fix that, flash the Decrypt+Wipe tar file that is linked below. Note that this would result in bootloop and factory reset would be the only way out so backup first.
If you are not choosing to flash the decrypt file, please remember to do so whenever you format the phone next time.
It is recommended to wipe dalvik/art cache when flashing kernel
Flashing Wipe+Decrypt would only reset data during the first time. Afterwards data is not wiped and decrypt is retained unless you revert to stock kernel.
