Yojam 1.2.0 clears the issue backlog and makes the browser-extension story considerably less theoretical.

Highlights:

  • Link History keeps the ten most recent exact URLs in the menu bar, with retention controls and a clear action.
  • Holding Shift until the picker appears now skips rules, URL rewrites, and tracking-parameter stripping for that link.
  • Rewrite rules can be edited in place instead of being deleted and rebuilt.
  • The Safari Web Extension is correctly embedded, signed, versioned, and discoverable by Safari.
  • Firefox and Orion rules can target named containers. Missing containers fail closed instead of opening a sensitive link in the default context.
  • tel: routing, custom configuration paths, app.notion.com routing, local-file rules, and the recent browser-profile fixes are all included.

The release includes yojam-chrome.zip as an unpacked Chrome-family extension and yojam-firefox.xpi for Orion or Firefox development builds. The Firefox XPI is not Mozilla-signed yet, so normal Firefox release builds will reject it until Yojam is published through AMO.

Users on 1.1.4 or newer can update normally through Sparkle. Older builds affected by the previous signing-key mistake still need one manual install from yoj.am, after which automatic updates work again.
