"Show implementation widgets" button not appearing in DevTools in VS Code sidebar

I don't see the additional button in the header here:

It's a simple counter app that I've had around on my disk for a long time that I just use for testing. The Flutter version is:

In the DevTools I see this version number printed:

I tried creating a new counter app and see the same behaviour.

I also tried opening in the browser and see the same:

And then I noticed that this was ticked:

I don't recall ticking it, but it's possible I did. Unticking it caused the button to appear. So probably there's nothing wrong here. Sorry for the noise!

@elliette btw, the points at which the text starts to disappear from the buttons due to being narrow seem a bit extreme - the text disappears when there is still huge a lot of space. Not sure how this works, but if you think it's worth filing an issue for, let me know.
