Use case

Flutter is able to support many different desktops (Windows, Linux, MacOS). Is this plugin really not dependable?

Proposal

If the plugin doesn't support Windows, Linux and MacOS, it should be updated to work.

Given that context, I'm assuming this was intended to be about google_maps_flutter; closing as a duplicate of #144529.

If you were trying to report an issue about a different plugin, please file a new issue and include more details.

One request was for google_maps_flutter and the other was for label_maker. This here isn't neither of those?! Then I don't know which link sent me here...
I didn't realise, that one plugin is not actually a plugin and depends on the other plugin. For me they are different plugins in the code.
Also as I see now there has been many requests for desktop support and the tickets are all closed, without any information about this on any of the plugins pages: #144529 (comment)

The supported platforms section on the plugin page provides enough information about the supported platforms. Given the limitation noted in #144529 (comment), I'll be closing this issue.

This is the issue tracker for the Flutter project, including the Flutter SDK itself and the 50+ packages maintained by the Flutter team. That includes google_maps_flutter, but we have no way of knowing which package an issue is for if that information isn't included in the issue.
