ubu v1.1.0
Upgrade recommended for everyone on macOS 26 (Tahoe).
Fixed
- Dock could disappear on macOS 26. CoreDock is gone in Tahoe, and the old fallback (
killall Dock) leaves the Dock stopped until you log out. ubu now moves the Dock back with a pointer push, the same gesture you'd use by hand. No Dock restart. - Intel Macs: v1.0.1 and v1.0.2 shipped an arm64-only binary. This release is universal.
- Memory leak: about 430 bytes leaked per mouse movement. Memory now stays flat (~14 MB).
- Left/right Dock: the cursor could be pushed off-screen or bounced back onto the main display.
- Sticky edges: edges where another monitor continues are no longer guarded, so the pointer crosses freely between stacked or side-by-side displays.
- Start at Login stays off once you turn it off.
- Moving the Dock to another side is picked up straight away.
- Window drags are guarded as well as plain pointer moves.
- A single Accessibility prompt instead of the prompt plus a Settings window.
Changed
- No private APIs. ubu finds the Dock from the window list and corrects at most 3 times, 3 seconds apart, and never during a drag.
- Signed and notarized by Apple.
