File Viewer v2.2.4

OFD flashing twice and STEP canvases going blurry after switching files were awful little bugs. v2.2.4 fixes both at the rendering boundary, then tightens the Office and CAD paths around them.

  • OFD progressive rendering now hands off to the ready state without hiding already visible content.
  • Repeated STEP previews restore the canvas backing buffer to the current device pixel ratio.
  • DOCX moves to @file-viewer/docx@0.3.26, covering the fixes tracked in #155, #160, and #161.
  • CAD moves to @flyfish-dev/cad-viewer@0.8.0, with versioned offline WASM and Worker assets.
  • Japanese is now available across the core messages and component UI.
  • The demo opens documents below the collapsed filename capsule, while scrolling remains immersive and content can move behind the capsule.
  • The PPTX Worker now forwards slide media safely and resets its per-slide queues between files.
  • Release and browser harnesses now fall back to system Chrome when Playwright's bundled Chromium is unavailable.

The checked matrix is 54 npm targets, 208 extensions, 25 preview pipelines, and 63 downloadable Release assets.
