Immutable release. Only release title and notes can be modified.

First published 12.0.x maintenance release. The v12.0.1 tag stopped at the CI gate before publication and remains unchanged.

A maintenance release for reliable absence checks, documentation and release verification. Brain configuration and retrieval suites remain at version 5; no manual upgrade is needed.

Fixed

  • Schema checks use their own scratch directory, so a concurrent clean documentation build cannot delete their intermediate files.
  • Collection bounds saved coverage by its successful run and the current observation time. A future window left in run history no longer keeps successful scheduled collection permanently stale.
  • A missing read no longer proves absence when a directly referenced brain is unavailable or identity lookup skipped invalid evidence. Retrieval evaluations expecting an empty answer fail visibly until the incomplete scope is repaired.
  • Future-dated notes appear in the home page's upcoming items without displacing recent changes.
  • PDF converter process tests allow interpreter startup on busy machines while still asserting output limits, timeouts and process cleanup.

Changed

  • CI and release publication share the four-platform verification workflow. PyPI and GitHub receive the exact distributions that passed isolated installation tests, with hash comparisons before and after publication.
  • Wheel and source-distribution checks install locked runtime dependencies outside the checkout and exercise initialization, validation, search, exact reads, status and retrieval evaluation.
  • Development tasks and hooks use native tools with separate import sorting and formatting, a configured coverage floor, strict rendered documentation links and disposable schema generation.
  • Refresh the README, documentation overview and branding; clarify which sensor integrations ship as reviewed examples and how to create others.
