A documentation release. The brain format (version: 7), bf.yaml, the reply schemas and the search cache are unchanged. The packaged bf-setup skill only changes its Claude Code guidance: run bf skills DIR to refresh installed copies.
Documentation
- The README presents BF as a second brain on your own computer: agents opened in a brain start from your projects and evidence instead of a blank session. Four diagrams show the gather-to-learn loop, a blank session beside a brain session, how field mappings turn four tools' names into one knowledge graph and how a project is flagged for review when its linked evidence changes. New sections cover the questions a brain answers and the tools behind them, the sources one brain can gather,
bf.yamlas the coordination hub, personal and team brains shared through Git and the trade-offs: local execution, provider setup and the agent harness's data terms. It also points agents tollms.txt. - Claude Code 2.1.277+ loads a brain's
AGENTS.mdon its own, so the guides no longer ask for aCLAUDE.mdholding@AGENTS.md; the agent guide keeps that import as the fallback for older versions, and an existing brain may keep itsCLAUDE.md.
