Brain Framework 9.2 starts new brains smaller, checks action folders and repairs the PyPI project page. The brain format is unchanged: existing version 3 brains need no conversion.
Added
bf init --fullalso creates the optional versioned folders:memories/,assets/,sensors/,routines/,settings/,skills/andtests/.bf validatereports action folders that are not namedYYYY-MM-DD_slugor lackACTION.md. Rename such folders withgit mv; validation then reports any links to update.- Document the optional brain folders: versioned
assets/for media that notes link to, and the unversionedinputs/,originals/andlogs/that new brains already ignore.
Changed
bf initcreates onlyprojects/,concepts/andactions/; other folders appear when first needed.bf registerkeeps the registry's leading comment lines when it rewrites the file.- Search, MCP and retrieval cases resolve relative times in one place. An invalid search time exits 2 as invalid input, and an invalid retrieval case names the case.
bf statusbuilds its report in the health service; the CLI stays a thin adapter.- PyPI publication accepts deployments only from
v*tags.
Fixed
- README links are absolute, so the PyPI project page reaches the documentation, skills and examples; a test keeps every link resolvable offline.
bf evalnames a missingqueries.yamlinstead of reporting an inaccessible file.- Claude Code discovers the repository's
bf-contributeskill through.claude/skills.
