Expected result

To anyone following this thread, this helped me.

To clear the Apex Language Server’s indexing, delete the PROJECT_DIR/.sfdx/tools/<Salesforce Release> directory and restart VS Code.

Sorry @daphne-sfdc clearing the Apex Language Server and restarting VSCode resolved the issue.
