Contains Amethyst relay AUTH bursts so user signing stays responsive.

  • At most one distinct kind-22242 AUTH challenge per identity can enter the Heartwood worker.
  • AUTH is never retried internally; a timeout or lost session opens a 60-second per-identity cooldown.
  • Exact cached AUTH duplicates can still answer during cooldown, while posts, reactions and encryption remain higher priority.
  • Repetitive AUTH-unavailable warnings are aggregated per caller.

Verified on the connected GrapheneOS phone: during a cold Amethyst burst, a fresh Regress login returned 1.254s after approval and authenticated successfully; an Amethyst AUTH challenge was shed in 1ms, foreground signing ran ahead of queued background work, and no SDK timeout occurred. CI build and emulator instrumentation are green.
