Summary

This release changes the certificate revocation workflow to use certificate thumbprint instead of certificate name for identifying certificates to revoke.

  • Added Get-CertificateByThumbprint function using Key Vault REST API to lookup certificates by thumbprint
  • Updated dispatcher to read CertificateThumbprint from revocation requests
  • Updated New-CertificateRevocationRequest function to work with the new lookup

  • Changed -CertName parameter to -CertificateThumbprint
  • Updated JSON payload to use CertificateThumbprint

Migration Guide

Update any systems sending revocation requests to use the new payload format with CertificateThumbprint instead of ObjectName.
