BREAKING

  • Lean default toolset. New installs expose 3 tools: cdf_decollapse (new — enum de-collapse into independent axes + missing combinations as questions), cdf_vocab_diverge, cdf_validate_profile. Set CDF_MCP_TOOLSET=full (env) for the full 18-tool surface.
  • Five profile-read tools removed: cdf_get_profile_section, cdf_list_profiles, cdf_coverage_profile, cdf_diff_profile, cdf_resolve_extends. Migration: read the Profile YAML directly; analyzeProfileCoverage/diffProfiles remain exported from @formtrieb/cdf-core for library consumers; parseProfile is extends-aware.

Added

  • cdf_decollapse — plain-language output, numbered questions, token cross-check + sibling-gate.

Tool count: 18 (full) / 3 (lean default). Depends on @formtrieb/cdf-core@^1.2.0. Full migration notes in the CHANGELOG.
