What's new
The add menu has categories. Long-press empty canvas: Synths, Notes, Note fx, Effects, Mod, Boxes and Patch run across the top, with that category's modules below, so any module is two taps away. The menu opens on the category you used last.
Your saved subpatches are in Boxes, as tiles beside the empty boxes. The list scrolls when there are many, and a long press on one offers to delete it.
Open a saved patch from Patch → Open…. If the patch you have open has unsaved changes, you're offered the chance to save it first. Saving a patch now also gives it that name.
A folder of your own. On first launch, PatchGarden offers to keep its SoundFonts, scales, saved subpatches and recordings in a folder you choose, where other apps and your computer can reach them. It then moves what it already has there.
Always recording. The last ten minutes of what plays are kept. Patch → Save recording… writes them as a WAV (16-bit, 24-bit or 32-bit float) into recordings/ in your folder, starting where the sound starts. The length, or turning it off, is in Settings.
Settings, under Patch, holds the folder, the recording length, the version, and the open-source licenses.
Steps in beats. Sequencers, Arp, Euclid, Delay and LFO step by some number of beats divided into some number of parts (1 to 16 each). The chip says it in beats ("1/2 beat", "2/3 beat"). The LFO can follow the beat too.
Knobs reach through boxes. A knob can be promoted out through any number of boxes, and given a jack on the outside of the box.

Updating
Patches from 0.2.1 open as they were. A whole patch saved to the library with 0.2.1 opens with nothing connected to Out, because files saved then didn't include those cables. Reconnect it and save it again.
