Import an existing GitHub Classroom as a Classroom 50 Class

I have successfully linked/imported an existing Github organization into Classroom 50. But is there a way to import/copy an existing Github Classroom (under that Github Organization) and add it as a Class into my Classroom 50 organization?

Just to clarify, did you mean that you successfully configured Classroom 50 on top of an existing GitHub organization that was previously configured for GitHub Classroom?

How would you like this import feature to behave? We’d appreciate it if you could describe the flow in detail so we can understand how much support we can add and whether it is feasible.

I might have a similar question. Is there a way to import all of the assignments from a class on github classroom? Right now it looks like I'd have to recreate each assignment, re-add the template repository, and recreate all of the associated autograding tests. Am I wrong?

Right now, we only have a CLI solution for migrating your existing assignments to the new organization, with no equivalent support in the web app. We can probably add migration support to the web app, but we won't be able to migrate the autograding configuration.

The Import from GitHub Classroom option has been added to the New classroom button.
